Van Care

I like helping at the centre whenever I can, today I helped get the van clean & shiny before we close for the year!!

 

Memorial Park

I had a nice day shopping for supplies, and chilling with my friends at Memorial Park, It was nice to get out & about in the fresh air.

 

Argyle Reserve

What a busy day at Argyle Reserve removing Wandering Jew, it was a big job but we made a huge difference in one day!, I look forward ro coming back next year and help in the restoration projects.

 

 

Greerton library

I enjoyed making christmas cards at the Greerton Library, I cut our different shapes out of coloured paper, and felts to decorate my card! good fun.

I had fun playing table tennis with my friends, Gaylene was pretty good too, plenty of laughs all around.

 

Sonic Cinema

I had fun watching "How to train your Dragon" with my friends at Sonic Cinema. We ate our popcorn and juice too.

 

Kulim Park

I had a fun morning socialising with my friends at Kulim Park. I jumped on the trampoline, played basketball, & on the swing. What a kool day!

 

Waipuna Park

I had a nice morning walking around Waipuna Park with my friends, the sun was nice today & it was kool social time.

 

Repotted

I like helping at the centre, I repotted some string of pearls, tomatoes &feijoas, it's nice seeing things grow!

 

Maxwells Beach

I had a lot of fun playing Volleyball, piggy in the middle, dancing and singing to the music, I also enjoyed chatting with my friends.

 

Marshalls Animal Farm

I had an amazing fun day at Marshalls Animal Farm, exploring and petting all the cute animals, then we enjoyed a picnic lunch there.

 

Young @ Heart

I had a lot of fun at the young at Heart celebration at the Historic Village today, we listened to a ukulele band and sung along to their songs.

 

Liston Park

We checked out a cool park in Greerton today, it was a lot of fun playing with my friends.

 

Oliver with a Twist

I had so much fun playing "Nancy in Oliver with a Twist" I loved dressing up, and dancing to the cool music chosen for our show!! 

 

Centre Shopping

I helped with centre shopping today at New Worlds, I helped count all the milk that we needed, & all the other bits and pieces.

 

Tii rākau

I had fun at Kanohi kitea at Otumoetai College, I learned the actions to tii rākau, played corn hole, spinning the frisbee on a long stick, and tried my hand at juggling, it was cool seeing all my friends and catching up with Rowan from Circability.

 

Johnsons Reserve

In discovery I helped clean up and get rid of wandering jew, whew!!! it was a big job!! but we did really well, I look forward to coming back to do more jobs here.

 

Disco

What a blast at our Disco, I danced and enjoyed the music DJ Spin played. I thorughly enjoyed the potluck mince stew with yummy fluffy friedbread. What a awesome day.

 

Dog walking

I had a lovely morning walking cute dogs, it put a smile on my dial patting them.

 

Boil up!!! Ka reka!

I help make a yummy boil up lunch, we had delicious beef with freshly picked watercress, riwai,pumpkin& kumara with doughboys, it was so good!

 

Games with friends

I had a lot of fun playing different games with my friends, I really enjoyed playing connect 4 & trying to connect my 4 pieces before my friend Sophie.

 

Hikoi with the ladies!

It was a nice day to go for a hikoi around 17th ave with my friends, then we checked out the Op shop on 16th Ave and purchased some new chairs for our centre.

 

Sulphur Point

Sailing was cancelled today, but I still went to check out Sulphur point with my friends and watched Mauri Ora, Paul and Matt fish, I even saw a seal swim past! cute!

 

Memorial Park

I spent the morning at Memorial Park wih my friends, we walked, explored and had fun on the swings.

I had a blast playing the ukelele to the songs, it was such a cool vibe with my friends.
