Outing to Yatton park

We went to the park for the day and had a BBQ lunch.it was yummy and we played lots of games as well.

Early Birthday

We had a shared lunch at work this week. I loved all the different food and we also had a band that sang some Christmas Carols. I got a nice surprise when they brought out a birthday cake for me and everyone sang happy birthday. 

Christmas Decorating

We decorated the centre for Christmas this week. It was good fun doing the tree and putting all the presents underneath. Here is me and Mike after we finished.

With all the rain we haven't been able to do our sports outside so we set up a volleyball court at Wilrose. It was fun and we all had a good time playing.

We have been doing some artwork in Maori Culture. It is good fun and as you can see, I am pretty good at it.

I had a good time playing a game of soccer with the guys from Greerton. We had oranges at half time and a drink of water.

I am back

I had a really good time away but it is good to be back with my friends at Wilrose. Today for girls group we did another cafe and here is a picture of me and a couple of my friends getting ready for it

Girls Group Cafe

For our cafe at girls group we had a seaside theme. We put shells on the tables to decorate them and had hot chocolate, savouries, banana cake and a biscuit slice. It was yummy. After we had eaten we put the stereo on and danced for a while. Here is me having a boogie.

Cool car aye

This car was parked down from our centre and we all thought it looked really cool so a few of us went down to get a picture of it.

Fun week

It has been a really fun week at Wilrose. We had a game of basketball against Greerton and we won. We also bought some hula hoops that we have been practising to use. They made us fit for the game.

Our cafe

Girls group did a cafe theme and I helped prepare the tables with flowers. We could order hot chocolate or coffee and also we got a sausage roll and piece of cake. It was real yummy and we are going to be doing more of them.

Cleaning the Vans

Every week I help clean the vans so that they look nice when we go on our outings. We get rid of any big rubbish from inside and then we vacuum them. After that we wash the outside with soapy water then hose them off. I try not to get wet but sometimes I do a bit.

Dressed up to party

What do you think of the costume I wore to the Sci Fi disco that we had here this week. Bet you can't recognise me?. Everyone dressed up for it and we danced the day away. We had a yummy burger with a drink for lunch as well.

Memory game on the iPad

Tried 'memory' on the iPad and I'm really good at it. Dora and Rebecca are really impressed! 

Morning exercise

Every morning we put the music on an dance to get warm and to keep fit. Sometimes we mak a train and we dance around the centre. Here is Nikorima leading the train with me behind Mel.

Girls Group Outing

The Wilrose Girls Group had an outing to the beach yesterday. We played games and did a pass the parcel. It was Christels birthday yesterday as well and when we got back to the centre for afternoon tea we brought out a cake for her and sang happy birthday.

Disney on ice trip

I got to go and see Disney on Ice in Hamilton. It was really good fun and I saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Cinderella there.

My hand print

We traced around our hand and when we were shown how to draw the lines over it and colour it in it made my hand look like it was lifting off the paper. It is called 3d. Thi is me doing mine.

Nice nails

Last week a lady came in and painted our fingernails for us. Her name was Sam and she was really nice. Thanks Sam.

BBQ lunch

We had a BBQ lunch here on Friday. The guys did a real good job cooking and doing it like subway with the salads was a cool idea

Hi- I had a really good time singing in sensory and making a pot at pottery today. We had a new kiln delivered today as well. Have a good Anzac weekend everybody.

Lakes ranch camp

At lakes ranch camp it's pretty cool.  We went horse riding.  My horse was called pandora, she was lovely.

Swim Session

Really hot outside today. Off to the Greerton pools for a swim in a minute. Choice day for it.

We went to the domain for sports on Monday. I really enjoyed running around the whole track, flying the kites and playing cricket.

Comet interview

Today I went to a goodbye party for Taylor my favorite staff at kindly.  Her cake was amazing.  I got to interview her about taking her career to Italy for the Arohanui comet.
