Today in Maori culture we learnt some new songs and had some fun singalongs! 

October!

October has been a great month so far! I have enjoyed my art classes and we have a lot of fun with the staff! :) 

Flax weaving

In Maori culture today we weaved flax headbands and flowers. It was challenging and we all learnt something new! 

Kite day in Katikati

We went to Katikati for a day trip with the centre and watched some cool kites being flown! I got to fly a kite, play games, go for a walk and eat lunch out in the sun!
