Fun times in May!

Hi, Katiana here!

This month has been packed with fun, friends, and community work. I stayed busy giving back by helping at the Greerton Library, tidying at the SPCA, and planting Spinifex with Coast Care at Omānu beach. For fun, I loved dancing at iDance, sailing at Sulphur Point, playing 8-ball at the Marble Bar, and enjoying the awesome Operatunity Concert. To top it all off, I had a blast exploring iAnson Reserve, hunting for bargains at local op-shops, and catching up with friends over movies and a yummy BBQ at Yatton Park.

8ball

Had a blast shooting pool at Marble Bar this morning. I was definitely in the zone—hit some of my best shots ever!

 

Operatuinity

What a lot of fun I had at Operatuinity Concert at Trinity Church!! I loved their fun perfomance, such a cool vibe!!

 

Creative kitchen

I had such a blast in Creative Kitchen today! I got to help whip up some mince patties, and honestly? They were absolutely delicious.

 

Project Papatuanuku

Here I am again, getting my hands dirty pulling weeds & planting veges, always busy days for me.

 

Quirks cafe

I went to Quirks Cafe again! I like visiting my friends at Greerton Centre, I indulged in a nice slice & cold can of coke! so good.... then we ended the morning making paper hearts.

 

 

Johnsons Reserve

Had the best time today exploring Johnson’s Reserve. The waterfall was stunning, and the fresh air was just what we needed before heading to Waipuna Park for a relaxing lunch.

 

Centre grown Tomatoes

"Do the mahi, get the treats" I helped plant tomatoes end of last year, & finally reaping the rewards!!! tasty centre grown tomatoes we all got to enjoy!! bon apetite!

 

Circus Connex Club

I had a good morning at Circability at Merivale Community Centre, I twirled, balanced & had a lot of fun.

 

Radio Station

I had a a lot of fun at the Historic Village Radio Station, I spoke with the radio announcers & they told us what they do at their job, we also got to check out 1000s of old music records!!

 

Blue Lakes

I had so much fun walking around the Blue Lake, soaking in the sun and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch.

 

Baywave Pools

I had fun swimming at Baywave Pools today, I like to float on my back & sometimes dive down as deep as I can go. Lot of fun to be had with my friends.

 

Friends + Games = FUN

I played some rounds of pool and enjoyed Arcade games with my friends. such a good vibe!

 

Tunnel house care

Today I helped tidy up the tunnel house and repotted veges, I love helping out & getting the mahi done!

 

Blaze Gym

I enjoy using the treadmill, I walk pretty fast for atleast 30mins when I am at Blaze Gym, I always look forward to my Gym sessions!

 

Merivale Community

We donated a box of clothes to Merivale Community Centre to help those who may need them,     I love helping the community through Acts of Service.

 

Historic Village

I spent the morning with my friends exploring the Historic Village, I checked out the Art display at the Incubater Hub, it was pretty cool.

 

Colouring in

I have a huge poster to colour in, I love using bright bold colours, so the picture really stands out!

 

Morland Park

I liked swinging on the wings and sliding down the slide with my friends at Morland Park.

 

Yay! I am back!!

 Happy New Year everyone, I am so excited to be back to work & to see my good friends. Looking forward to the fun year ahead.
