iSing & Kapa Haka Xmas perfomance

They day finally arrived, and I loved perfoming with my friends in our Kapa Haka Group.We then had our yummy KFC Xmas lunch with fresh fruit & ice cream for dessert. 

 

Talent Quest rehearsals

Practice makes perfect, and I am definitely having fun practising with my friends.

 

Drama Show fun!

Fun fun fun today at the Drama Show, I played a Police woman, fighting crime!! and dancing to good music. Such a blast!

                                                  

Pilots bay

Its "Kat in the Hat" here, discovering and exploring at Pilots Bay, we walked along the beach, checking out the jellyfish that washed ashore, we continued to the bottom of Mauao, and used the binoculars to watch birds and the tiny fish neer the Stone wharf. I dipped my feet in the water before we headed back to have a picnic lunch by the tree.

 

Gate Pa Loop Walk

The weather was amazing for a lovely stroll with my friends at the Gate Pa loop walk, 

 

McLaren Falls

I had fun, fun, fun today exploring Mclaren falls, I walked the waterfalls track with my friends, listening to the different bird sounds, then later on we had a picnic lunch followed by another quick walk looking at the ducks and geese.

 

Rose Garden

It was a lovely morning spent at the Rose Garden with my friends, smelling all the beautiful roses while the gardeners were tidying it up, we walked around a bit, and had a seat admiring the view while listening to music.

 

Wairoa River

I had a go scooping for whitebait along the Wairoa river with Discovery 1 group, no luck today but we had fun, and watching a local catching whitebait in his set net, then we ate our lunch on the picnic blanket before coming back to the centre.

 

Olympics Day

I had so much fun at the Olympics Day in Greerton Marist, I liked the gumboot throw and relay with my friends. I even cheered everybody on that participated.

 

Ten Pin Bowling

It was so much fun playing Ten Pin Bowling today, I got a strike!!! and done a fun dance to celebrate! can't wait to do it again.

 

Garden care

We have been very Busy bees today for Project Papatuanuku, weeding and picking up dead leaves off the ground, Then we planted capsicum & sweetcorn seeds.

 

Historic Village visit

I had a lovely morning spent at the Historic Village, we listened to the Pitchpipe playboys Quartet and helped feed the lambs that were there, 

 

Kulim Park

I had such a kook morning at Kulim Park with my friends, playing on the swings and enjoying the fresh air.

 

Quirks

Had a lovely morning at Quirks cafe at our Greerton Centre, I enjoyed a caramel slice and a can of coke, finished off with shooting hoop,

I had a lovely morning at the 16th Ave cafe today with frineds, I enjoyed a nice cold coke and a Rasberry chocolate muffin.

 

 

Athenree Homestead

What a blast I had at Athenree Homestead, I enjoyed listening to the history, and what people done 150years ago. Then we enjoyed having lunch there before coming back to the centre.

 

Blaze Fitness

Its been great getting into the gym and keeping fit with my friends.I enjoy using the tread mill, and push myself each time while having fun.

 

Discovery Papamoa Hills

Today we climbed a little way up Papamoa Hills in discovery, it was so hot, then we went to the beach for lunch and a nice stroll along the beach.

 

 

Discovery

 In discovery today I helped peel lots of Apples, so they are ready to make Apple crumble for Under The Stars.

SPCA acts of service

Doing Acts of Service is what I like to do in Volunteer, I got to rehang clothes that were on the shop floor, and tidy the shop up with Suzie. Its nice helping out when I can.

 

Connect20

I enjoyed myself at connect20 today,, I ordered my favorite lunch, fish, chips and salad, then wash it all down with a nice cold drink.

I did catch up with friends and had fun 

 

Coastcare Act of Service

I had fun doing Acts of Service with Coastcare today with Discovery, I dug holes and planted native plants Pingao & spinifex with some fertilizer to help them grow big and strong.

 

Discovery Plummers Point Rd

What a perfect day today at Plummers Point Road, we walked and done some bird watching with the binoculars and had lunch near the water front.

Discovery Group

 This week in Discovery group my friends and I went to the Merivale community gardens. We picked and washed fresh lettuce and then delivered them to the foodbank to be given out to people in the community. In the afternoon we washed our vans, they look nice and clean now.

Sonic Cinema!!

I had a lot of fun and laughs watching Paddington at Sonic Cinema today with my friends, it was great seeing my friends from the Greerton Centre, and enjoy some popcorn and drink.

 

 

Citz club for lunch

Had a lovely fish and chips for my lunch at the Citz  club today, then I socialised with all my friends from connect20.
